Bloomin’ Brands: 3Q Earnings Snapshot
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ Bloomin’ Brands Inc. (BLMN) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $9.2 million.
On a per-share basis, the Tampa, Florida-based company said it had net income of 11 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 10 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 10 cents per share.
The owner of Outback Steakhouse and other casual dining spots posted revenue of $967.1 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $969 million.
Bloomin’ Brands expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.53 to $1.61 per share.
Bloomin’ Brands shares have climbed 17% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 1% in the last 12 months.
