Sandy Hook parent to speak at Sacred Heart University
FAIRFIELD — Ian Hockley, who lost his son Dylan in the Sandy Hook School tragedy, will speak about his story at Sacred Heart University.
The is scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, in the University Commons on main campus, 5151 Park Avenue. It is free and open to the public.
Hockley’s talk, “Heroes Who Go Above and Beyond: A Sandy Hook Hero Helps Create the Next Generation of Compassionate Leaders,” will focus on his organization Wings of Change and how the tragic event was the genesis of a movement.
