Between 6:53 a.m. Monday and 7:17 a.m. Thursday police responded to116 calls.
New Pinery Road: Police on Monday at 10:00 a.m. stopped Amber Nelson, 24, of Portage, who was cited for operating a vehicle after suspension of a license as a ninth offense and driving without proof of insurance.
New Pinery Road: Police on Tuesday at 6:28 a.m. stopped Timothy Tomkus, 48, of Rockford, Illinois, for driving with a malfunctioning headlight, who was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license and arrested on warrants from Walworth and Dane Counties.
West Cook Street: Police on Tuesday at 11:03 a.m. responded to a call where Zach Barber, 35, of Portage, was arrested for violation of probation and Dejeon Winslow, 23, of Portage, was cited for possession of marijuana.
East Franklin Street: Police on Wednesday at 6:15 a.m. responded to a domestic disturbance where a 24-year-old Portage man was arrested and cited for strangulation, battery, intimidation and domestic disorderly conduct.
Kwik Trip Central: Police on Wednesday at 7:21 p.m. stopped Steve Stangel, 61, of Portage, who was arrested and cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated as a fourth offense and bail jumping.
