Baha’i Faith celebrating religion’s 200th anniversary
The Baha’i Faith community of Scottsbluff and Gering is observing the 200th anniversary of the birth of the faith’s founder, Baha’u’llah.
Members invite the public to join them on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 3-8 p.m. at the Kiwanis Lodger at the Trails West YMCA Camp as they celebrate the Light of Unity Festival.
The event will include children’s activities, a Baha’i video at 4:30 and at 6:30, refreshments and more.
In conjunction with the observance, the book “Baha’i Basics” has been accepted into the collection at the Gering Public Library and is available for checkout.
