Bookkeeper Gets Up To 13 Years In Prison For Embezzlement

SCRANTON — A Lackawanna County judge today sentenced the former bookkeeper for Cousin’s Convenient Marts to 77 months to 13 years in prison for embezzling almost $500,000 from the business. President Judge Michael Barrasse also placed Sheila Bronson on 17 years of probation and ordered her to make $499,000 in restitution. Bronson, 54, Archbald, was convicted in November of theft by unlawful taking and tampering with public records. Check back for updates.
