Jazz, Big Band Clarinetist Henry Beau Dies
BURBANK, Calif. (AP) _ Henry ″Heinie″ Beau, who played clarinet for the Tommy Dorsey and Red Nichols orchestras, has died of cancer. He was 76.
Services were held Wednesday for Beau, who rose to prominence in the 1940s. He died Sunday.
Beau also had done film and studio work and was featured on television specials with Dinah Shore, Andy Williams, Red Skelton and Frank Sinatra.
He is survived by his wife, Grace, two daughters and four grandchildren.
