Chamber plans networking breakfast
LAUGHLIN — The Laughlin Nevada Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its first ever free networking breakfast event on Jan. 25 from 8:30-9:30 a.m PST. The workshop is going to provide marketing and advertising assistance at no cost to new and old community businesses and members over coffee and pastries.
The goal is for individuals to gain advice on how to grow their business and learn the value of being a chamber member. Attendance is encouraged for prospective and new chamber members.
“It’s to encourage community business to have more faith and confidence in themselves, with the ability to succeed with the tools they have,” Jackie Mazzeo, executive director of the Laughlin Chamber said. “Some people just need to be introduced to tools.”
The networking breakfast is going to help businesses learn how to utilize logos, images, coupons/specials, social media, and how to fully maximize their chamber memberships.
“In the past, they (businesses) joined the chamber because it was just the thing to do,” Mazzeo said. “They knew it’s good for them but they didn’t really know how it worked. We want to teach them how.”
Any business within the Tri-state is welcome to join, but attendance is limited to the first 25 people. The networking breakfast should take only an hour.
The Laughlin Chamber is planning on the workshop taking place the last Friday of each month from here on.
If interested in joining, call the chamber at 702-298-2214 to RSVP.
