WideOpenWest: 4Q Earnings Snapshot
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) _ WideOpenWest Inc. (WOW) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $6.9 million.
On a per-share basis, the Englewood, Colorado-based company said it had net income of 8 cents.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 21 cents per share.
The cable TV company posted revenue of $283.5 million in the period, which also did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $284.2 million.
For the year, the company reported net income of $36.4 million, or 45 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was nearly unchanged at $1.15 billion.
WideOpenWest shares have fallen 16% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $6.25, a fall of 24% in the last 12 months.
