Stratford man arrested in Milford burglary

On Saturday afternoon, Milford police arrested a Stratford man in connection with a residential burglary. According to the police, shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday, Michael Meade, Jr., 29 of Cutspring Road in Stratford, was arrested on a warrant for the burglary, which took place Wednesday. Police said the warrant is based on physical evidence secured at the burglary scene by members of the police department and linked to Meade.

He was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, and third-degree criminal mischief and assigned a $50,000 bond.

Police said an investigation is ongoing and more charges may be filed.
