Landon Collins becoming quite the playmaker for Giants

November 2, 2016 GMT

EAST RUTHERFORD – Landon Collins can catch a football after all.

The Giants’ safety spent much of the offseason kicking himself for the interception of Tom Brady he infamously dropped as a rookie.

Then there was the one Collins let slip through his hands earlier this season against the Ravens, leading him to promise with a smile he would get one of those picks “eventually.”

Well, eventually finally happened for Collins and the Giants in London when his pair of interceptions helped beat the Rams and send the team into the bye week with its second consecutive victory. Now that the Giants have returned, Collins is ready for more.

His presence in the Giants’ secondary has been paramount to the defensive success

With the unit getting healthy around him, Collins is eyeing Sunday’s NFC East showdown against the Eagles at MetLife Stadium as a chance to continue their strong play.

“I’m ready to continue to keep making more plays,” Collins said. “I can do a lot more. Just try and change it up this weekend.”
