Kunin to add Liechtenstein to diplomatic portfolio
WASHINGTON (AP) _ President Clinton named Madeleine Kunin ambassador to Liechtenstein on Tuesday. She will continue to serve as ambassador to Switzerland.
Kunin, a former deputy education secretary and Vermont governor, will not receive an additional salary for her assignment to the tiny European principality, the White House said in announcing the nomination.
Liechtenstein, a 62-square-mile mountain nation neighboring Switzerland, has just 30,000 citizens.
