William Buchda, 60, formerly of Fox Lake

William “Bill” R. Buchda, 60, formerly of Fox Lake, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at Country Villa Assisted Living in Omro.

William was born June 6, 1958, in Waupun, the son of Donald and Dorice (Hedman) Buchda. He worked at Schumann Printers in Fall River for several years and also bartended at Mr. B’s in Fox Lake. A member of the Rock River Radio Club, Bill also enjoyed researching his family genealogy. Known locally as “Klancy the Klown,” he looked forward to making appearances at the Fox Lake St. Patrick’s Day Parade and other local events, where he enjoyed making balloon animals.

William is survived by his siblings, Lennart (Debra) Buchda of Randolph, Nancy (Ken) Freriks of Waupun, Bev (Dale) Gruszynski of Omro, John Buchda of Randolph, and Jerry Buchda of Fox Lake; and further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, special great-great-nephew, “Domino” as he liked to call Dominick, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and other relatives.

A memorial gathering will be held Monday, Jan. 28, at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.
