Dementia conference in Juneau set for Oct. 25
JUNEAU -- The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dodge County and the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will sponsor a conference in Juneau this fall for professional and family caregivers of those with dementia.
The 2018 Dodge County Family and Professional Dementia Caregiving Conference will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Henry Dodge Office Building, 199 County Highway DF, Juneau. This conference welcomes family caregivers, professionals, members of the community and people living with dementia who are interested in dementia concerns.
Speakers and topics currently scheduled for the conference are: former Wisconsin Gov. Marty Schreiber, “My Two Elaines”; John Holloway, “Dementia and Driving”; Dacy Reimer, “Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia”; Diane Mosnik, “Different Types of Dementia”; and Susan McFadden, “Dementia-Friendly Communities.”
