ST. LOUIS (AP) — An anti-abortion activist has been found not guilty of making a bomb threat at a St. Louis Planned Parenthood facility.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 65-year-old John P. Ryan of Pacific was acquitted Wednesday of a misdemeanor charge of making a terrorist threat.

Ryan was accused of telling an employee who was walking into the clinic in 2016 that there were multiple bombs in the building. Ryan denied ever making a bomb threat.

Ryan was initially charged with a felony in January 2017. Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner’s office amended the charge to a misdemeanor in April 2017.
