Games to watch

New Canaan at Darien (Darien Ice House), Wednesday, 4 p.m.: The rival neighbors only meet once in the regular season.

Greenwich at Notre Dame-West Haven (Bennett Rink), Wednesday, 4 p.m.: Greenwich is 0-4-1 in its past five Division I games. It’ll visit the Green Knights, who have been off for a week and a half.

JBWA at LHK (Northford), Wednesday, 4 p.m.: The Trojans, fresh off their big shutout win against Sheehan, host JBWA, the greatest show on ice right now, averaging nearly eight goals a game.

Hand at Watertown/Pomperaug (Taft), Wednesday, 8:15 p.m.: Hand is 6-0 against Division I and Division II opposition. Seven other Division III teams have six wins, period. This’ll be a tough one, but the Tigers beat Guilford earlier this year. (The time on this game was pushed back twice on Tuesday, and obviously weather could wreak havoc on schedules everywhere.)

NFI at Guilford (DiLungo), Saturday, 1 p.m.: That’s Guilford, which has won nine in a row since a loss to Watertown/Pomperaug that it avenged last week. Next up is NFI, which is 4-2-4.

Hamden at Notre Dame-West Haven (Bennett), 5:30 p.m.: The Green Knights came from behind to beat Hamden in overtime when the teams met just before Christmas.

Farmington Valley vs. South Windsor (Wednesday at Avon Old Farms, 8 p.m.; Saturday at South Windsor Arena, 5:30 p.m.): A home-and-home between two upstate potential Division II contenders.
