Cal Water donates $14K to help families in need

California Water Service has donated $14,000 to charitable organizations in its Marysville district to help families in need this Thanksgiving and holiday season.

Through its Operation Gobble program, Cal Water donated to the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Hands of Hope, Twin Cities Rescue Mission, Marysville Elks Lodge 783, Christian Assistance Network and St. John’s Episcopal Church.

The charitable organizations’ services include providing rehabilitation services, homeless services and meals.
