Red Sox Land NL All-Star LHP Drew Pomeranz in Trade with Padres
The Boston Red Sox addressed their pitching concerns through a trade with the San Diego Padres for National League All-Star left-hander Drew Pomeranz (8-7, 2.47 ERA) as first reported by Dennis Lin of the San Diego-Union Tribune.
In return, the Red Sox will ship Single-A prospect Anderson Espinoza,18, who last played for the Greenville Drive (South Atlantic League).
