Police Arrest Two On Drug Charges After Serving Search Warrant
Wright Twp. police and members of the Luzerne County Drug Task Force took two people into custody after serving a search warrant last week and finding drugs.
Robert C. Beilman, 55, and his girlfriend, Renee L. Hazlak, 37, both of White Haven, each face three counts possession with intent to deliver, felonies.
Beilman was also charged with one count possession of a controlled substance while Hazlak faces a count of possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered. Both are misdemeanors.
Bail was set at $20,000 each Thursday by Magisterial District Judge Ferris Webby Sr., Wright Twp., and both posted the money that day.
Police served the search warrant at 6:40 a.m. at their home, 8122 Promontory Drive, which is in the White Haven Poconos development, according to an online map.
Court papers state officers found 3.17 ounces of cocaine, about 1 pound of marijuana, 36 THC vape vials, 30 oxycodone pills, drug paraphernalia, plastic sandwich bags, a digital scale and a mechanical scale.
Police said the amount of drugs seized was consistent with the trafficking and distribution of drugs. Two handguns and a rifle were also seized.
Beilman admitted to using, possessing and selling the marijuana, cocaine and THC while Hazlak admitted to knowing the drugs were in the home but not participating in any of the transactions, police wrote.
The home was unoccupied when officers showed up but police contacted Beilman and Hazlak and they returned home.
