Packers unveil plans for 100th season celebration
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers are planning a 16-month celebration to commemorate the franchise’s 100th season.
Team president Mark Murphy unveiled plans on Monday , which include a “100 Seasons” commemorative patch added to players’ jerseys this year.
Events also include a traveling statewide exhibit and a 10-part documentary series covering a decade-by-decade look of team history. Festivities will conclude with a celebration of the Packers’ 100th birthday on Aug. 11, 2019.
