Summer-like temperatures in 70s, ample sun: Akron Tuesday weather

AKRON, Ohio – Things are heating up Tuesday in Akron. With the help of more sun, and perfectly positioned winds, a warm-up to the upper 70s is likely for the afternoon, but the morning is still looking slightly cooler.

The day will heat up quickly, so morning temperatures depend heavily on how early you’re out the door. Before 8 a.m., temperatures could dip to the 40s, while from 8 to 9 a.m. will hit the 50s. By noon, the mercury will hit 70 degrees, with the day’s high in the late afternoon around 78 degrees. We’ll stay in the 70s through most of the evening, cooling back to the 60s closer to midnight.

The dry, sunny skies will stick around due to a strong area of high pressure, and southwesterly winds will only help the warmth further. But the dry weather will come at the cost of high pollen.
