April 16, 2019

A man and woman who were living in the desert near SARA park earned a stay at the Lake Havasu City Jail when their motorhome was discovered to be stolen. Lake Havasu City Police say Melissa Jenette White, 39, and Neil Jay Dille, 40, were jailed on felony charges of unlawful means of transportation when their Coachman motorhome was discovered carrying plates and registration belonging to a 1996 Saab sedan. Officers found the motorhome with stolen plates near North Acoma Blvd and McCulloch Boulevard on April 8. Police said White was driving the vehicle. The couple told officers they had been staying in the desert near SARA park. A background check revealed both Dille and White had been arrested “numerous times for a variety of offenses,” according to the police report. Dille told officers he bought the motorhome for $4,000 from a man he had performed masonry work previously. In addition to the felony charge, Dille was jailed on two misdemeanor warrants.
