‘March for Our Lives’ student-led rallies for gun control planned in D.C., Philly, other cities
Students from across the country are expected to take to the streets later this month in a nationwide march against gun violence, weeks after 17 people were killed during a mass shooting at a Florida high school.
“March for Our Lives,” an event spearheaded by survivors of the Feb. 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, is expected to bring huge crowds to Washington, D.C., to rally over gun issues and school safety. “Sibling marches” are being held in cities across the U.S., including Philadelphia.
