$4k stolen from Nawlins Street II cafe safe, no suspects at this time

HUNTINGTON — The following information is provided by reports from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Department:

BURGLARY: An employee of Nawlins Street II in the 5200 block of Irwin Road in Huntington Saturday reported $4,000 had been stolen from the business’ safe during a 45 minute window of time where the store was empty.

The employee reported at about 7:15 a.m. she entered the business and counted the money. She left, locking the doors but not setting the alarm. Another employee arrived at 7:55 a.m. and noticed the safe was open, though the doors were secure.

Severa l employees h ad reportedly been fired in the past few months. There are no suspects at this time.

T he Hu nti ng ton Pol ice Department listed six new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Monday, according to a printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:

Possession of a controlled substance; obstructing an officer; warrant service; breaking and entering, 12:15 a.m. Monday, 1000 block of 12th Avenue

Destruction of property, 6 p.m. Saturday, 1500 block of 5th Avenue

Warrant service, 7:16 p.m. Sunday, Riverside Drive

Warrant service, 6 p.m. Sunday, 700 block of 5th Avenue

Warrant service, 5:39 p.m. Sunday, 100 block of Davis Street

Warrant service, 8:24 a.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Buffing-ton Avenue Rear

The following Information Is provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail:

Darryl Omar Creig, 20, was jailed at 3:10 a.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with breaking and entering. Bond was not set.

Jasmine Nicole Nibert, 19, was jailed at 3:10 a.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with breaking and entering. Bond was not set.

Shawn Eric Winemiller, 46, was jailed at 3:10 a.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with failure to register as a sex offender, breaking and entering, obstructing and possession with intent. Bond was not set.

Tasha Nicole Anewishki, 31, was jailed at 9:45 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with third-offense shoplifting, trespassing, forgery of a public record, being a fugitive from justice and obstructing. Bond was $18,000.

Elizabeth Parry Campbell, 29, was jailed at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with grand larceny. Bond was $5,000.

Donald Jeff Porter II, 40, was jailed at 9:10 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with grand larceny and destruction of property. Bond was $20,000.

Taylor Marie Ramey, 21, was jailed at 9:35 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with a home confinement violation. Bond was not set.

Jodie Lynn Doerfer, 45, was jailed at 7 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Mason County charged her with third-offense driving revoked for DUI. Bond was not set.

Quanda Kiev Wilbone, 23, was jailed at 4:15 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Bond was $5,000.

Tre Lashaun Tuttle, 19, was jailed at 2:40 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with delivery of contraband. Bond was not set.

Gary D. Warick, 52, was jailed at 9:50 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and altered Sudafed or precursors. Bond was not set.

Joy Black, 51, was jailed at 2:45 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with an unspecified charge. Bond was not set.
