Policies are on agenda
The board of education of the Watertown Unified School District will take action on second readings of a number of school district policies as part of its consent agenda at its meeting Monday at 6 p.m. at the Educational Service Center, 111 Dodge Street, Watertown.
Policies up for approval on second readings include district use of social media, school community and government organizations, visitors to schools, use of citizen advisor committees and absences and excuses from school.
The consent agenda also includes a number of resignations, retirements and appointments in addition to a number of extra curricular assignments.
A number of reports are also on the agenda. They include the monthly superintendent’s report, summaries of board committee meetings, board evaluations and goals, and reports on fiscal management, human resources, educational services and teaching and learning.
One resolution on the board of canvassers report from the Nov. 6 referendum which was narrowly approved by the electors on Nov. 6 will also be up for acceptance by the board of education.
