Exelon: 3Q Earnings Snapshot
CHICAGO (AP) _ Exelon Corp. (EXC) on Thursday reported third-quarter earnings of $733 million.
The Chicago-based company said it had net income of 76 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 88 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 88 cents per share.
The energy company posted revenue of $9.4 billion in the period.
Exelon expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.05 to $3.20 per share.
Exelon shares have climbed 12 percent since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 index has increased slightly more than 1 percent. The stock has climbed slightly more than 9 percent in the last 12 months.
