Catch ‘Zootopia’ in the park in Morrison

July 21, 2016

MORRISON – The animated movie “Zootopia” will be shown for free at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Morrison Sports Complex, just east of town at U.S. Route 30 and Bishop Road.

According a new release:

“From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps [Ginnifer Goodwin] becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde [Jason Bateman], a wily fox who makes her job even harder.”

People can bring lawn chairs, blankets and a flashlight. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Concessions, including popcorn, will be sold.

The event is presented by the Morrison Chamber of Commerce, Co-Z Corner Inc., and Sterling Federal Bank.
