WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) — Funeral services will be held Friday in West Valley City for a municipal code enforcement officer fatally shot while on the job in the Salt Lake City suburb.

The public can attend services for 52-year-old Jill Robinson, which begin at 10 a.m. at the Maverik Center.

Robison was killed Aug. 9 at a home where police later arrested 64-year-old Kevin Wayne Billings on suspicion of aggravated arson, murder and other charges.

Court records show Billings had a history of code enforcement charges dating back decades.

Interment will be private.
