Scattered snow, rain with warm-up to mid 40s Tuesday in Akron: Weather forecast

AKRON, Ohio – Wintry, chilly weather will return once again to Akron Tuesday. But don’t break out the shovels yet.

Very scattered snow showers are possible for the morning commute, but nothing will stick. The drive in should be fine, except for maybe a few slick patches. Precipitation chances drop significantly in the afternoon, but a rain and snow mix are possible in the evening. Coverage is scattered, so chances are still slight.

Morning commuters will want to dress warm for lows in the 30s, but by the afternoon things could reach the mid 40s.
