Rough night in office for City of Norfolk basketball teams

The Norfolk High basketball teams were swept in a doubleheader last night in the Panther gym.

The Norfolk boys suffered a 50-47 loss to Lincoln Journal Star tenth ranked Lincoln Southwest. Zack James had 14 points, making 4-7 three point attempts. Teammate Luke Kluver contributed 13 points, four assists, and three steals. Norfolk is now 5-5 on the season.

The Norfolk High girls dropped a 41-37 loss to Lincoln Southwest. McKenzie Bader scored 13 points while Kyla Moore added ten points, eight rebounds, and three steals. They drop to 5-5 on the year.

The Norfolk Catholic boys lost at home to Wayne 49-40. Kelby Schaefer had twelve points while Andrew Fleecs scored eleven. The Knights fall to 2-9.
