Pelham Paced by Jepson; Lowell Stunned by Dracut
Senior right-hander J.J. Jepson only gave up 3 hits to go with 5 strikeouts over 6 innings and chipped in offensively with 2 hits, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored as Pelham blanked Manchester West, 8-0, in a New Hampshire Division 2 baseball game.

Reliever Tyler Pike pitched the seventh inning, notching 3 strikeouts, to complete the shutout.
Zack Jones had a hit and drove in 3 runs for Pelham (3-5). Reagan Brunelle had 2 hits, 2 RBI and scored a run for the Pythons (3-5).
Dracut pulled off a major MVC upset, rallying for five runs in the bottom of the sixth and two more in the seventh to force extra innings.
In the eighth, Sean McMeniman had a leadoff triple and scored on a ground ball to second by Danny Robichaud to win it for the Middies. Devin Lambert tossed 1.2 innings of scoreless relief. Jared Fahey started, allowing a 1 earned run in 3.1 innings. Mike Patterson and John Cormier pitched well in relief.
Offensively, Pat Crowley (2 RBI), Brad Keefe (3 RBI) and Patrick O’Toole (RBI) had RBI doubles in the sixth. McMeniman (triple) and Robichaud each had 2 hits. Lambert added a hit.
For Lowell, Edgar Velazquez had a hit and 2 RBI, while Thomas Bassett collected a hit and RBI. John Donovan, Adam Betty and Jamie Velez also drove in runs for Lowell (9-3).
Greater Lowell 4
Brian Bosia (2-1) tossed a complete-game gem, allowing 3 hits and 0 walks while striking out 11.
Greater Lowell broke open a tight 1-0 game by scoring 3 runs in the sixth inning when Matt Gaudette doubled and scored on Jeremy Gray’s double. Gray then scored on Cole Blades’ single. Blades scored on the front end of a double steal. Adding hits for GLT were Eric Airosus and Riley Stys.
Ayer Shirley 17
Nick Granger led the way on offense, going 4-for-4 at the plate with 4 RBI and 4 runs scored.
Ian Keene chipped in offensively with 2 hits and 3 RBI for Ayer Shirley (6-3). Cole Castro tallied 2 hits and 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
Graham Jeffries pitched well in defeat, tossing 7 innings, allowing 2 earned run, while striking out and scattering 4 hits.
Offensively, Mike Connor had 2 hits and an RBI for the Lions (9-3), who dropped their second in a row. Jack Beauchesne, Chris Rabias and Shea Ryan added a hit each.
Timmy Coakley pitched 6 strong innings, allowing only 1 run and notching 6 strikeouts while earning the win on the mound.
Kyle Chi was 3-for-3 at the plate with a double and 1 RBI for the Colonials (4-7). Jack Bartle 2 hits, including a home run, and drove in 2 runs.

Ryan Murphy pitched well in his 5-inning stint, allowing 4 runs, but none of them were earned, for Billerica in the MVC loss.
Offensively, Matt Donovan singled and scored a run, Kyler McDonald hit a sacrifice fly and Matt Tucker drove in a run. Adding a hit each for Billerica (2-10) were Dan Fantasia and Joe Dufour.
Andover topped Tewksbury in an MVC cross-over game.
Mike Polimeno had 2 hits and a walk for the Redmen. Tyler Keough, Matt Perron, Nolan Timmons and Garrett Kingston had 1 hit each.
