Celebrate Christmas with a live nativity

If you are looking for a way to remember the life of Christ this Christmas, there are two well-known live nativities in Utah County for you to view.

Alpine Living Nativity

The annual Living Nativity in Alpine is one of the Christmas season’s treasured experiences for many Utah County residents and tickets are required. The Living Nativity is a family-friendly experience that shares the reality of Jesus Christ’s birth in a live-action enactment. Complete with camels, shepherds, wisemen and the infant Christ nestled in a stable, the beautiful nativity scene has regularly drawn a community of avid fans.

When: Nov. 30, Dec. 1-2, 4; 6-9 p.m. with a 3-6 p.m. matinee on Dec. 2

Where: 317 Heritage Hills Dr., Alpine

Cost: Free, but tickets are required

University Place Live Nativity

University Place is partnering with the Orem Community Church to host a live nativity at The Orchard at University Place. You can enjoy the musical sounds of local voices and there will be free hot drinks from Starbucks and treats provided by California Pizza Kitchen.

When: Dec. 8, 6-9 p.m.

Where: The Orchard at University Place; 575 E. University Parkway, Orem

Cost: Free
