Brookfield selectmen vote to increase library board members
BROOKFIELD — The Board of Selectmen voted Monday night to increase the number of members on the Library Board of Trustees.
The board unanimously approved an ordinance that would bring the library board up to nine acting members and eliminate the three alternate positions.
The Charter Revision Commission had proposed this change when discussing possible fixes to the charter. But the selectmen decided to make the change through an ordinance, rather than in the charter.
