April 11, 2018 GMT

WILKES-BARRE — A 28-year-old Wilkes-Barre man will spend eight years in federal prison for drug dealing, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District said Tuesday. U.S. District Court Judge A. Richard Caputo sentenced Jaquan Henderson for selling crack cocaine. He also will spend three years on supervised release. Henderson previously pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute crack cocaine in February 2016. Henderson’s sentence was impacted, in part, by his significant criminal history, which qualified him as a career offender under the advisory United States Sentencing Commission Guidelines, the U.S. Attorneys Office said. — BOB KALINOWSKI
