WAYNE - The annual County 4-H Day is an opportunity for youth to practice and develop their public speaking skills as well as showcase photography and baking skills.

This year, the county contest had one PowerPoint entry, one Visual Presentation entry, five Public Speaking entries, two Talent Show entries, nine photography entries and three cookie bake-off entries. The following individuals will go on the State 4-H Day competition: Chase Smith with a PowerPoint Presentation and Speech; Conner Hall with a Speech and Duke Parsley with a Visual Demonstration. Many thanks to all our 4-H members for participating in this annual event; those featured in the photograph include (back row, l-r) Conner Hall, Benton Hall, Chase Smith, Duke Parsley, Josie Parsley and Elijah Parsley. Finally, sincere thanks to our judges Linda Parsons, Lauren Marcum and Steve Stapleton.
