Tickets for Beaver Dam High School spring play go on sale

March 28, 2018

Tickets for the Beaver Dam High School spring play “Nevermore! Edgar Allan Poe – The Final Mystery” go on sale today.

The play speculates about what may have happened during the poet’s strange final days after failing to make his way back to New York. Poe died in 1849 after being found delirious, wandering the streets. His cause of death remains a mystery to this day.

The play will incorporate much of Poe’s own work and various special effects. The 27 student actors play around 60 characters in total. Senior Wriley Hoffner is playing the lead role.

The show is directed by Jennifer Tunks and Roberta Marck.

Tickets are available at Food Pride or Piggly Wiggly and at the door.

Tickets are $5 in general and $4 for senior citizens, students, and children.

There will be performances in the high school auditorium on April 5, 6, and 7 at 7:30 p.m. and April 8 at 2 p.m.
