Alleged stabbing suspect turned herself in to Madison police

January 20, 2017 GMT

A woman accused of stabbing a man Wednesday night has turned herself in to Madison police.

Katrina Lemon, also known as Katrina Nettlesbey, 44, no permanent address, was tentatively charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

She went to the South District Station to turn herself in, said police spokesman Joel DeSpain.

Lemon, and the 44-year-old Madison man who suffered a stab wound to the chest, have known each other for years, police said.

The unidentified victim was believed to have suffered a life-threatening injury and is still in the hospital.
