Mississippi martial arts instructor arrested on sex charges
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) — A former Mississippi martial arts instructor has been arrested in Florida on child sex crime charges.
News outlets reported that Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said that 50-year-old Todd Allen Pisarich has been charged on four additional counts of sexual battery, two counts of illegal touching of a child and one count of attempted illegal touching.
The former Ocean Springs resident had been arrested last year on two counts of sexual battery of a child.
The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Pisarich Tuesday morning in Santa Rosa, Florida.
Pisarich owned The Academy of Mixed Martial Arts in Ocean Springs when the investigation started in late 2016.
He’s being held in Milton, Florida, pending extradition to Mississippi.
