Luke Perry Returns to ’90210′

LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Dylan McKay is moving back to that famous posh ZIP code.

Luke Perry will return to ``Beverly Hills, 90210″ next season in a deal with Fox that includes development of a new series. The contract calls for Perry to appear in a minimum of 12 new ``90210″ episodes, with the possibility of doing an entire season.

``Luke is a dear friend, and I’m thrilled to have him back,″ the show’s executive producer Aaron Spelling said Monday.

Perry left the show in 1995 to appear in movies. He just finished filming ``The Florentine″ for Francis Ford Coppola and currently is shooting ``Storm,″ co-starring Martin Sheen. Perry’s movie credits include ``8 Seconds,″ ``Normal Life″ and ``The Fifth Element.″

Under his new deal with 20th Century Fox Television and Fox Broadcasting Co., Perry will develop and star in a new series and possibly work on other Fox projects, including a TV movie and a feature film.
