Gas prices drop a bit in northern New England
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Gas prices have gone down a bit in northern New England.
The latest GasBuddy price reports show prices dropped 2.4 cents per gallon in New Hampshire last week, to an average of $2.74. In Maine, the average price is $2.81 per gallon, down 1.7 cents in the last week. Prices in Vermont were down less than a penny, at $2.79 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.8 cents in the last week, averaging $2.85 a gallon. The national average is up 2.1 cents per gallon from a month ago, yet stands 1.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
