Man stabbed in Sedro-Woolley
SEDRO-WOOLLEY — A 50-year-old Sedro-Woolley man suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed in the back Friday morning.
The man drove himself to PeaceHealth United General Medical Center after apparently getting into an argument with his 32-year-old girlfriend in the 600 block of John Liner Road, Sedro-Woolley Police Chief Lin Tucker said.
Hospital staff called police to report the stabbing about 1:30 a.m., Tucker said.
The man was later transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he underwent surgery for the non-life-threatening injuries, Tucker said.
The girlfriend has been booked into the Skagit County Community Justice Center, he said.
