Antelope Memorial Hospital hosts open house for new clinic
NELIGH - Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh hosted an open house for its new clinic Sunday afternoon.
Administrator Jack Green says the project has been in the works for several years, and it’s an exciting time to reach completion.
“What we did is the building we are currently in was built by Dr. John Byrd, and it was built for one to two people. We have more than that and we have tried to make it accommodating to our needs for the last 10-12 years and we’ve just basically outgrew it. We then decided to build a new clinic” Green said.
He says the new clinic has nine rooms for patient visits, one procedure room, and additional work space for the providers and staff.
“What this does is it allows us to bring in more specialists, bring in more practitioners to live here, so it’ll just help continue the positive (impact) we have going for the healthcare of Antelope County” Greed added.
Green says the new clinic is set to open after January 1st.
