Booth American, Broadcast Alchemy Merge Radio Stations
Undated (AP) _ Booth American Co. and Broadcast Alchemy L.P. said Monday they will merge some of their radio stations to form a new, equally owned company.
The stations involved in the transaction have combined assets of about $160 million.
Broadcast Alchemy will contribute its stations in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis. Booth American will contribute stations in Detroit, Denver, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Sacramento, Calif.
Detroit-based Booth American operates 16 radio stations in nine cities, and nine cable systems in eight states.
Broadcast Alchemy is an affiliate of Lane Industries of Northbrook, Ill.
