Lucky Penny Cycles to roll into town
Lucky Penny Cycles will open a 28,371-square-foot motorcycle dealership at 211 FM 1960 Road West as part of an expansion of the brand in Texas. Lucky Penny opened in Bedford in 2016 selling pre-owned motorcycles. The dealership is part of Calculated Risk, which owns and operates six Harley-Davidson dealerships in Texas. Laura Diggs of NAI Partners represented the tenant, while Chris Holder of NAI Partners represented the landlord. The store, which will take space formerly occupied by Louis Shanks Furniture, is on track to open in July or August. The deal is one of the largest retail leases in the fourth quarter.
Phenix Salon Suites has signed a 10-year lease for the entire second floor at 2101 Smith Street, a project of Williamsburg Enterprises in Midtown. The 7,267-square-foot deal brings the project to 100-percent occupancy. Brian Ashby and Sydney Dixon with CBRE represented the tenant (Phenix) in the transaction. Jeffrey Warwick represented Williamsburg in-house. The Encinitas, Calif-based salon franchise has more than 200 locations nationwide.
Main Squeeze Juice Co. has opened at 820 W. Bay Area Blvd. in Webster as part of the brand’s expansion in the Houston area. The store is operated by franchisees Jeff Drost and Tabatha Jones.
MONA Fresh Italian Food has leased 525 square feet in Understory, the 9,000-square-foot culinary market and community hub at downtown’s Capitol Tower. MONA opened at 19355 Katy Freeway in Katy in July. Other upcoming tenants at Understory are East Hampton Sandwich Co., Boomtown Coffee and Mama Ninfa’s Tacos y Tortas.
F45 Fitness has opened a 2,593-square-foot studio in Sugar Land Town Square, 2230 Lone Star Drive, Sugar Land. Sage Klement of Streetwise Retail Advisors represented the tenant. Jennifer Fogle represented Planned Community Developers. Other fitness options in the center include Revolution Studio and Yes Yoga.
South Creek Animal Clinic has leased 2,800 square feet at Berry Farm Marketplace, 24527 Gosling Road, Spring. Joaquin Orozco and Taki Dallis of Retail Solutions represented the landlord. Patrick Valentz of Xite Realty represented the tenant.
Labor Force has leased 1,000 square feet at Eldridge Plaza Shopping Center, 13150 FM 529. Benny Nguyen and Jim Thompson of Retail Solutions represented the landlord.
