Plains Lions Plan Annual Pasta Dinner

The Plains Lions Club will hold its annual pasta dinner Tuesday, April 30, at Bernadine Hall, Saints Peter and Paul, Hudson. Serving and takeouts are from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The dinner will benefit the local food pantries of Saints Peter and Paul Church and the United Methodist Church in Plains Twp. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for children 5 and younger. There will be entertainment and basket raffles throughout the event. Tickets can be obtained from any Plains Lions Club member or by calling event chairman Joe Spagnuolo Sr. at 570-824-6323. The efforts of the Plains Lions Club, along with community support, has generated more than $20,000 for the local food pantries over the past several years. First row: Fran Griffith.
