Groundbreaking set for $12 million Angola hotel
Contractors will break ground Tuesday on a Wyndham hotel, a $12 million investment that will be part of a developing innovation park in Angola.
Groundbreaking for the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel will be on the southeast quadrant, exit 348, at Interstate 69 and U.S. 20, a news release from JICI Construction said.
The hotel is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2019. The four-story hotel will include 99 rooms, a lounge and rooms for meetings, exercise and business work.
“This is going to be a newly unveiled prototype that will be the first in the country with this look,” Ian Garner, a spokesperson for JICI, said through email.
