January 1, 2019

ZUMBROTA — The Whitesidewalls, who play music as if the 1950s never ended, will present their Rock ‘n’ Roll Revue at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 5 at the State Theatre, 96 E. Fourth St., Zumbrota.

The band was formed in 1972 by college classmates Pat Brown and Eric Satterlunch with the intention of playing doo-wop, rockabilly, and rock ‘n’ roll, basically from the era of 1954 to 1964. Pat “Hound Dog” Brown is still with the band, playing guitar, drums and bass.

The Whitesidewalls have been inducted into the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame, the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, and the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Tickets are $24 in advance, $27 at the door, available through Crossings at Carnegie, 507-732-7616.
