Council to look at beverage rules
The Watertown Common Council will review one ordinance to amend section 220-5(C), license restrictions, of chapter 220, alcohol beverages and other beverages during its meeting today at 7 p.m. in the council chambers of the municipal building.
Members of the council will review a number of resolutions. They include:
-- Adoption of the City of Watertown Emergency Operations Plan.
-- Amended budget and purchase of 28 body worn cameras for the Watertown Police Department.
-- A contract with Bay Area Recycling for Charities for box spring and mattress recycling.
-- A purchase of trees from McKay Nursery.
-- Naming the micro park at 249 S. Concord Ave. Heron View.
-- Declaring May 11, 2019, as International Migratory Bird Day.
-- A Collective Bargaining Agreement with Labor Association of Wisconsin for police officers.
The council will review beverage operator applications and a request for a Class B malt and Class C wine licenses for Rosati’s Pizza, 1907 Market Way. They will also look at a request for a secondhand article dealer license for ecoATM, LLC at 1901 Market Way and a special event license for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Rock River wine tasting fundraiser at 618 E. Main St. on Saturday, Feb. 23.
There will be an employee recognition and various appointments as well during the meeting.
