Attorney Gen. Alan Wilson sticking with Trump
COLUMBIA — S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson plans on voting for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, though the likely 2018 gubernatorial candidate said he would like to see more focus from the New York billionaire’s campaign.
Wilson’s comments Tuesday came a day after another top South Carolina Republican, Gov. Nikki Haley, told reporters that she continues to support Trump, a week after criticizing his spat with the parents of Army Capt. Humayun Khan, a Muslim who died fighting in Iraq.
