LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Boingo Wireless Inc. (WIFI) on Tuesday reported a loss of $187,000 in its third quarter.

The Los Angeles-based company said it had a loss of less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.

The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 10 cents per share.

The provider of Wi-Fi hotspots in airports and other public places posted revenue of $64.7 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $62.8 million.

Boingo expects a full-year loss of 32 cents to 23 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $267 million to $273 million.

Boingo shares have dropped 53% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $9.70, a decrease of 61% in the last 12 months.
