DETROIT (AP) — More than 150 public and private green stormwater infrastructure projects in Detroit are being listed on an online map.

City officials say the Detroit Stormwater Hub shows how the infrastructure in Detroit manages 218 million gallons of stormwater each year.

The hub allows the public to submit projects, find resources and engage with green stormwater infrastructure in their neighborhoods. The map shows the location and gives details of each project.

Projects include bioretention gardens at city parks, rain gardens on residential property, and green roofs and permeable pavement at commercial properties.

The Detroit Stormwater Hub was funded by the Erb Family Foundation and created through a collaboration between the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, The Nature Conservancy and a 25-member community advisory group.
